I feel like I'm an empty husk of a human sometimes and nothing I do feels satisfying. It's not all the time, but out of the blue it'll hit and I'll just spend time thinking about the meaning of all of this. I'm someone that's pretty well off compared to others I know, yet just empty and devoid of any meaningful content. I think to myself who am I, and what value do I bring to this world? What will all of this mean in the end? Hopefully something.

I hate it when people you know and trust for years who you have an extremely close relationship with just act nice to make someone feel better rather than being honest. Just tell me the way things are and don't act like a twat about it. SPEAK YOUR MIND! Maybe some people are just bad at being full of shit and lieing, but I prefer hurtful brutal honesty from my close friends over being lied to. I respect you more for being direct and to the point and open about how you feel.

Being a dad and faithful husband and building a family with someone

Everytime I see happy couples and families at parties I can't help but wonder why not me? I would love to have someone to hold at night, a child to care for, a great career. To be a parent that drops their kids off to school and complains about rushing to work and traffic. To have a husband that's busy but takes time to out for a date night or mini vacation away from it all. These things others do as if it's the norm for everyone else...why not me?

I'm 23 years old and after graduating college last year I still can't find a job as a programmer. No internships, no start ups, nothing. I know I'm not that great at it and my grades weren't anything special, but I set my hopes high and I thought I'd at least find something entry level. I want to move out already and have my own thing. I hate that I get rejected from women not only in person but on dating apps too. I've tried everything and my self confidence has really gone way down. Being alone sucks but being alone and rejected constantly sucks even more. I put effort into how I look and talk, and really work on being as genuine as possible and listening, but nothing. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and God forbid I get anything more than an I'm not interested or You're just not my type. Tell me what it is and I'll work on it rather than try to be nice to me.
