There's too many people out here looking for jobs and not enough jobs. If you have something stable do your best to make sure you stand out and are a high performer to better your chances you don't get laid off like I did. It's rough out here and no joke.

I always think too many grubby hands were all over it or something could be wrong with it. It doesn't make sense even to me sometimes but it feels like the right thing to do.

Coming from the corporate world, this is something every company does and needs to do. The president is running the country like a company, and in all honesty it is. My girlfriend says I'm cheating by watching porn and thinking about another girl. I told her I'm not cheating just by having a fantasy about something and asked her if she fantasizes about other people, and she said no. I call bullshit and she is too controlling sometimes. We've been together going on 2 years now and I don't know if this is going to work long term with her trying to control what I watch and fantasize about. It's like she's trying to control my thoughts and make me feel guilty just for thinking about things or watching porn when I try to watch it discreetly.

Friends of mine are out doing small protests against Musk and Trump but I don't see the point. Granted these friends don't have real full time jobs so they have a lot of time on their hands, but is it really impactful to walk a few blocks for cars to blow some horns at you so you can feel like you've accomplished something positive? Idk but I don't think it is

If you're one of the unlucky ones to be laid off just remember to keep going and this does not define you. You'll find something else and this was the push you needed to get something even better and experience something new. Stay strong. Keep fighting.
